Quire, a notebook that writes back
Every page here is real: my handwriting on a Boox Note Air 6C colour e-ink tablet, and Quire's replies, replayed stroke by stroke.
What shall we learn today?
I wrote "diagram of heart, what makes it beat too?" The page drinks the ink and writes back: "The Spark Inside", the heart's natural pacemaker, with a watercolour of the heart painted in about seven seconds. Then it asks a question back. I wrote that I couldn't understand the words, so it started again, simpler: the heart is a two-story house with four rooms.
Maths, worked by hand
For f(x) = x², I expanded f(x+h) − f(x) by hand. Quire read my working, ticked it ("expanded and cancelled!") and circled the step where I factored out h.
Keats, a line at a time
Reading "To Autumn", I asked Quire to draw the painting. It painted the cottage eaves heavy with grapes and apples.
Your turn
Draw a loop around a topic and a lesson recorded from a real Quire session with Claude Sonnet 5.5 writes itself.
Quire lives on my Boox Note Air 6C. Claude writes, Gemini paints: about a cent a page. I made it for myself. It isn't for sale. — Yask, yask.dev
